Course Overview
This City & Guilds Assured course has been developed to provide you with an understanding of how to control the risk of legionella within a water system, and evaporative cooling system. It will enable management of the water system in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 and guidance document HSG274 Parts 1, 2 and 3.
Who is This Course For?
This course is for managers, supervisors and engineers who require an in-depth understanding of how water systems become contaminated with legionella bacteria, and other pathogens. As well as, how implementing good management processes can help mitigate the risk to health.
