In a recent update shared by HEFMA (Healthcare Estates Facilities Management Association) Pulse Magazine, we spoke of our commitment to ensuring that our newest course offering - Lifts - is delivered in-line with HTM Guidance and reflects the recent updates to BS7255:2023. We also highlighted some of the details around our new courses.
PPL Training and lift industry partners Rise Compliance, recently began a working partnership to deliver a suite of Lifts courses, in-line with HTM 08-02, which references BS7255.
Recent changes to ‘BS7255:2023 Safe Working on Lifts - Code of Practice’ will be reflected in PPL Training’s new lifts courses.
Authorised Person Lifts HTM 08-02 is a 4 day course, 3 days are delivered in-centre and the 4th day is an on-site practical familiarisation for the AP. Also included is Trapped Passenger Lift Release training, as per guidance within the HTM.
The in-centre portion of this course is available as a stand-alone refresher course for experienced APs, with the on-site Trapped Passenger Lift Release training session, also available separately for cohorts of 4 or more.
