Course Overview
Our one day City & Guilds Assured disinfection of hot and cold water systems course has been designed to provide you with the statutory, technical and practical information required to safely disinfect hot and cold water systems. Taught by industry professionals, throughout this course you will develop a thorough understanding of water system disinfection in accordance with technical documents: HSG274 Part 2, BS 8558 and PD 855468.

Upon completing this course, you will know which chemicals to use and how to disinfect safely. This includes disinfection procedures using; sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, as well as subsequent water sampling and chemical measurement.
Who is This Course For?
This Legionella disinfection course has been developed for those planning or currently involved with the disinfection of hot and cold water services within buildings using chlorine based compounds or silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide.

Achieving a City & Guilds Assured Legionella disinfection digital credential will further expand your skillset and can open up a path towards becoming more involved with the technical side of Legionella and water related duties. Additionally, our City & Guild Assured course is widely recognised across the UK, providing formal recognition of your skills and knowledge.
