We are delighted to announce that
Aaron People (FdEng LCGI EngTech MIET) has recently joined our Engineering Services team on a permanent basis.
Aaron officially joined our growing team of consultant engineers at the beginning of this month and is looking forward to continuing his role as an Authorising Engineer.
An electrical engineer with a vast knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and experience within the field, Aaron is another addition which will take our engineering consultancy team to the next level.
He comes to us with a career that has seen him work both as an Authorised Person (10 years) and as an Authorising Engineer (8 years). Aaron is a specialist in the areas of low voltage design, inspection & testing, hazardous areas, high voltage and aeronautical ground lighting, gained whilst working in the public, commercial and defence sectors in the UK and overseas.
Aaron is a member of the IET. He entered the industry as an apprentice and trained as an installation electrician. He also attended London South Bank University where he obtained his foundation degree in building services engineering.
Head of Engineering Services, James Godwin was very pleased with the appointment:
‘For the past couple of years, Aaron has worked as an associate for PPL and has always proved to be a vital member of the team. His full-time appointment will enable us to help more businesses and industries adhere to statutory regulations than ever before.’
With statutory legislation in the UK changing and evolving all the time, it is imperative that engineering systems in industry are properly assessed by an independent, objective consultant. Aaron joins a team of Authorising Engineers working up and down the country, helping you meet compliance criteria so that you can focus on what you do best.
