1 Day

Our Online Tutor-Led Remote Training

Live video courses led by our experienced and knowledgeable training team.
Course Overview
The publication of HTM 02-01 (2026) represents the most significant update to Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) guidance in almost twenty years. While the fundamental principles of patient safety remain unchanged, the new guidance introduces a far greater emphasis on governance, competency, risk management, lifecycle asset management, operational assurance and system resilience.

This course provides a structured comparison between the 2006 and 2026 editions, enabling delegates to understand not only what has changed, but why the changes have been introduced and how healthcare organisations should implement them.

Through practical examples, case studies and side-by-side comparisons, delegates will gain a clear understanding of the revised expectations for designers, installers, Authorised Persons, Competent Persons and healthcare management teams.

The course highlights new responsibilities, expanded governance arrangements, updated operational procedures, revised competency requirements and enhanced documentation expectations necessary to demonstrate compliance with the latest HTM guidance (NHS England).

We appreciate that our training staff are a vital component of the overall delegate learning experience. As such, all of our remote training courses are delivered live by one of our tutors through Microsoft Teams.
