Gavin has been involved within electrical maintenance for over 30 years, Starting as an apprentice electrician with the Scottish health board.
Over the years he has been engaged in a number of roles, from an on the tools electrician through to supervisor, And covered roles such as technical Engineering support for bank critical comms rooms through to writing operation and maintenance manuals for building redevelopments.
He has also been an Electrical Authorised Person for low voltage and high voltage, and undertaken these AP duties in hospital, manufacturing, and banking environments. He was also a senior authorised person within the Northern Lighthouse Board, working on battery solar diesel and utility powered facilities.
