Course Overview
This qualification aims to provide in-depth knowledge on the design, installation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) supply equipment and circuits in domestic and small commercial environments.

It aligns with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Code of Practice and relevant Regulations for EV charging, incorporating the latest National Occupational Standards.

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Requirements for the Design and Installation of Domestic and Small Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Installations (2921-34).
Who is This Course For?
You MUST be a qualified electrician to attend this course.

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge of competent electricians in line with the Electrotecnical Assessment Specification (EAS) entry standards.

Ideal for practicing electricians, enabling them to understand the design and installation of electric vehicle (EV) supply systems and equipment. With a special emphasis on those experienced in low-voltage radial power circuits, the curriculum is geared towards implementing small-scale EV supply solutions in homes and small businesses.

Finishing this qualification enables electricians to elevate their capabilities in EV charging infrastructure, focusing on safety and efficiency to meet increasing market needs.

The qualifications above must have been achieved no more than 5 years prior to starting this qualification or there must be evidence the candidate has remained current by completing relevant CPD such as a City and Guilds 2382 or equivalent.
Age restrictions: This qualification is approved for learners aged 18 or above.
